Coordination of CRNA to SRNA and SRNA to SRNA Mentoring Programs


My interests include policy related to CRNA reimbursement for services and Evaluation of Approaches for More Efficient and Effective Utilizations of CRNA Services


Instruct at the Masters and BSN levels.  Areas of teaching focus include extensive work as a clinical preceptor and clinical coordinator.  Didactic teaching focus is on preoperative assessment, cardiac physiology and anesthesia, pharmacology and physiology of coagulation and CRNA political advocacy.  Workshop instruction includes positioning workshop, anesthesia gas machine workshop, airway management workshop, spinal and epidural workshop, regional anesthesia workshop, WISER Difficult Airway course, WISER Anesthesia Crisis Management (ACLT) course, Problem Based Anesthetic Management course, Mock Induction of anesthesia course, Think on Your Feet course, IV and artline workshop, Pediatric Simulation and Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy Course, Double Lumen Endobronchial Tube/Jet Ventilation Course and Central Venous Catheter (CVC) workshop.
