The Accelerated Second-Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program provides students who have already earned a baccalaureate degree or higher in a non-nursing field the opportunity to earn their BSN in one year of full-time study. Learn more about the program at the upcoming Open House.

At this event, you'll be able to:
- Participate in hands-on nursing activities in the Anatomy & Physiology Lab, Skills Lab and Simulation Lab - you'll feel like you stepped into an operating room.
- Meet current students and graduates of the program - find out what its like to be enrolled in the program and learn about their careers following graduation. Ask any questions you have about the program.
- Meet the ABSN academic advisors - ask any questions you have about enrolling in the program.
- Learn about the guaranteed scholarship for students enrolling in the program and other financial aid opportunities.

Parking Details: The recommended parking garages for this event are the Soldiers and Sailors parking garage about a ten-minute walk from the Victoria Building. Noted as SO on the following map. The UPMC Presbyterian parking garage is located across the street from the Victoria Building. Other parking options can be found at Pitt Parking.
Entrances to the Victoria Building: There are two entrances to the Victoria Building. The escalator entrance is located at the corner of Victoria and Lothrop Streets, adjacent to the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital emergency entrance. The elevator entrance is located at the corner of Victoria and Darragh Streets. Both locations will be well marked with balloons and signs the day of the event.
