School of Nursing Spring Commencement Ceremony

Regalia, Cords & Graduation Central 

All graduates must wear academic regalia for the ceremony. 

The cost for regalia for Pittsburgh campus students is:

Bachelor's regalia set: $57
Master's regalia set: $61
Doctoral regalia set: $75

Please note the DNP hood is peach.

Graduation Central will be held on:

Tuesday, April 9 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. 
Wednesday, April 10 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. 
University Store on Fifth

At this event, undergraduate and graduate students will be able to purchase their regalia in-person. 

Undergraduate students may also pick up their cords at this time. If you are unable to attend the cords will be located in Student Affairs & Alumni Relations, 240 Victoria Building.  

Online regalia orders can be placed at: Shop Regalia.

Tickets

Each graduate will receive six tickets to the graduation ceremony. No additional tickets are available. Hard copy tickets will be printed and distributed to graduates. The graduate will be responsible for forwarding the tickets to their guests. Graduates will be notified when the tickets are available. 

Ceremony Livestreaming 

The ceremony will be livestreamed and recorded for those guests unable to attend the event. Please access the Livestream via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/92899913028

Day of Details

10:00 a.m. - Doors open for seating
10:15 a.m. - Graduates arrive and check in at the registration table
10:40 - Graduates line up for procession
11:00 a.m. - Ceremony begins
1:00 p.m. - Ceremony ends

 

Accessible Guest Drop-off/Pick-up area

There is a semi-circle driveway on Forbes Avenue in front of Carnegie Music Hall. This entrance to the building is handicapped accessible and guests with mobility problem, etc. can be dropped off and picked up in this area. Please note, you are not able to park in this area. There will be signage in front of this entrance noting the School of Nursing Commencement Ceremony. 

Parking Options

• Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Music Hall has a multi-level parking garage located at the corner of Forbes Avenue and South Craig Street.  
• Soldiers & Sailors Parking Garage is located at 4101 Fifth Avenue.
