Ethan Little is a perfect example of a nursing student doing everything he can to prepare for his future. That includes taking advantage of the University of Pittsburgh’s Panthers Forward debt-relief program for Pitt seniors.
150 fourth-year students, including Little, were welcomed into the Panthers Forward Class of 2025, with each receiving up to $5,000 in direct federal student loan relief. Along with the financial assistance, these students are mentored by Pitt alumni, invited to special events and workshops, and provided with financial planning resources.
“The School of Nursing at Pitt has afforded me incredible opportunities and given me an unparalleled learning experience,” says Little.
Little has served as a Pitt Arrival volunteer and later assistant coordinator, welcoming students and their families to campus during move-in days. He earned the 2023-2024 Interfraternity Council (IFC) Council Member of the Year Award while serving as the IFC VP of Recruitment. He is VP of Finance for his fraternity and the President of the Men in Nursing Club.
Little also earned a student nurse internship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in the Cardiac ICU in summer 2024.
After graduation, Little plans to start his nursing career in the Philadelphia area. His long-term goal is become a CRNA.
