Jamie Reddinger

Profile
Dr. Jamie Reddinger serves as a faculty member in the Health Promotion and Development Department, specializing in pediatrics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a minor in Psychology, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1997. In 2002, she obtained her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Reddinger is dually certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Primary Care and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, she earned a School Nurse Certification from Slippery Rock University in 2010 and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Capella University in 2023.
Dr. Reddinger’s clinical experience spans various pediatric specialties, including critically and chronically ill children, school nursing, and ambulatory surgery. She began teaching nursing students in 2020, delivering pediatric didactic courses and providing clinical instruction. Currently, her clinical practice is focused in the perioperative area and her teaching focus is in pediatric undergraduate clinical.
She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse practitioners and has served locally as a co-education chair and is the current co-chair of the Integrative Health Special Interest Group.
