Dr. Kerry Quisenberry, assistant professor, assistant program director, and vice chair for administration for the Department of Nurse Anesthesia, has earned a wellness counseling certificate from Cornell University.
Much of Dr. Quisenberry’s research and work advising her Doctor of Nursing Practice students explores wellness, resilience, and burnout among health care providers and student registered nurse anesthetists in particular. Her passion for this area of practice has led Dr. Quisenberry to develop a one-credit wellness course for the Nurse Anesthesia students starting the program in the spring 2025 term.
Dr. Quisenberry’s dedication to her students and awareness of wellness aspects shows that there is plentiful opportunity for students wishing to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Those interested can apply now to Pitt’s nurse anesthesia program.
